ABOUT THE HACKATHON WORKSHOP

At this hackathon workshop, we will show how to create blended learning programs with the focus on learning metrics on all stages, taking into account the content, the trainer’s behavior, the participants’ behavior during the learning process.

As a crucial part of the hackathon workshop, we will use the “L&D Poker” deck of cards. The deck is very easy to use because it is based on the well-known ADDIE model. The deck is a library of learning activities, learning materials, learning metrics, solution delivery formats and content presentation methods that will allow you to easily

manage the creation of an educational product. You can create either a long learning program or a short training session with pre- and post- work.

We consider the learning metrics and the algorithm for working with them to be the highlight of the deck. At the workshop, you will learn what data you need to collect, what data-based hypotheses to put forward before implementing the learning product.

 

The second part of the workshop will be the hackathon itself. The participants will receive a task to develop a learning program or a training session at a limited time. In the end we will announce the winners. The first three places will get L&D poker decks, all other participants will receive an unforgettable valuable practice and access to the L&D Puzzle, a virtual guide for corporate blended learning program development and evaluation in Lanes, Zoom, MS Teams and other popular services.
